Connect Driver Solutions have exciting opportunities available for Class 1 Drivers in Wolverhampton on a temporary-to-permanent basis!

Pay rates: £13.69 per hour for first 8 hours, £15.77 per hour after 8 hours worked & £18.02 per hour for any weekends worked (rates set by client) – PAYE only

Schedule: Day shift, 6am starts, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work as and when required)

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Class 1 driving operating a walking floor (experience desirable)
Loading and moving/delivering aluminium locally
Performing vehicle checks

The successful Class 1 Driver will have:

A valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence (held for at least two years)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience on C+E vehicles
A valid DQC and digital tacho cards
No more than six points on your licence with no DD, CD, DR, IN or TT codes accepted

Working as a Business Development Manager your role will be to attract and engage with a variety of new and potential clients. As such your duties and responsibilities will include:

Identify and research potential new business opportunities and target markets
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s customer base and increase revenue
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Provide regular reports and updates to management on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads

Do you have proven success in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales and negotiation? Are you excellent at negotiation skills and interpersonal charm? Do you have a passion for sales and business development? Then we want to hear from you! The following skills and traits also won’t hurt:

Minimum of 2 years proven field-based B2B Sales Representative experience
Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to foster productive business relationships
