Pay Rates:

£13.40 p/h for first 8.5 hours
£15.63 p/h after 8.5 hours
Nights out £26.20

What We’re Looking For:

We require Class 1 Tanker Drivers with previous experience loading/unloading using pumps and compressors (ideally with ADR). We are looking for drivers who are willing to tramp away

There may be a requirement to cover container work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – drivers will need to have experience operating sliding chassis and operating in port terminals. There will potentially be a requirement to night out on Tuesday night if on this pattern.

Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods

What You Need as a Class 1 Driver:

Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Class 1 vehicles
Valid CPC & Digi cards
ADR would be desirable, but not essential
No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour (PAYE, van provided by client)

Shifts available: Monday to Saturday

Contract: Full-time permanent contract

The successful candidate will drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle and perform multi-drop duties. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting parcels, doing around 60 to 80 drops per day, around the North East.

The ideal Van Driver will have:

Previous multi-drop experience
A valid driving licence
No more than 6 points on your licence
Availability to start immediately
