Schedule: 7am to 7pm, and 7pm to 7am
Pay rate: £20 per hour (PAYE), £25 per hour (CIS)
Working as a Boiler Operative:
- Working as part of the team providing 24/7 operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the boiler facility
- Operating the steam generating plant, compressor plant, water demineralisation plant, cooling towers, steam distribution and pressure control systems, fuel supply systems and water distribution systems
- Completing reports, logs, data collection and handovers accurately and to the required schedule
- Carrying out unsupervised routine maintenance, remedial work and maintenance of an immediate nature
- Carrying out analysis each shift of boiler feed water, treated water and boiler blow down to maintain water quality
- Partaking in annual shutdown activities, assisting with the stripping and rebuilding of boiler components
The successful Boiler Operative will have
- A good level of IT, numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to balance a varied workload and re-prioritise in response to changing business needs and unexpected problems
- An in-depth knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Excellent communication skills
- The willingness to undertake training to better understand the plant, processes and procedures involved in operating a power station
- A technical background along with BOAS/Health & Safety qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

What’s on offer?
- A full-time permanent opportunity
- Working 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm & Friday 9am to 5pm
- A salary of £25,000 to £27,000 per annum
Working as a Legal Secretary, your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Being the first point of contact for customers contacting the law office
- Prepare and amend documents, contracts (including Sale and Purchase Agreements, Transfer Deeds, Completion Statements), Land Registry forms and correspondence by audio and copy typing using digital dictation
- Dictating audio files and written notes
- Managing records, projects and calendars, ensuring everything flows smoothly
- Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
- Indexing and updating pleadings
- Collecting and delivering documents
- Managing diaries and making travel arrangements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous administration experience, with practice in audio transcriptions – but previous experience in the legal sector would be an advantage.
Other key skills and traits that you will ideally have, includes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when preparing and proof-reading legal documents and correspondence
- A thorough understanding of the conveyancing process, with previous experience in residential property transactions is preferable
- A responsible and discreet approach to handling sensitive client information
- A commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining high standards of file management and record keeping
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- Proficiency in word processing software including MS Office
- Ability to work with a team of Lawyers and others in the organisation
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadline
