Connect Appointments are seeking MIG Welders from a manufacturing background on an ongoing basis, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the assignment.

Skilled/Semi-skilled/part qualified MIG Welders with a solid career in welding can be considered

What’s on offer?

• Full-time position, working 39 hours per week
• DAY OR BACK shift available
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15pm – paid at £12.10 per hour
• Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1:15am – paid at £16.14 per hour
• Overtime available

Working as a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for working with piece parts, using jigs and bench hand work, whilst also involved in other larger fabrication.

To be successful as a MIG Welder, you will be skilled in MIG Welding of metal products. Semi-skilled/self-taught Welders from a manufacturing/fabrication background will be considered.

Please Note – Successful candidates must have some pre-existing welding skills, neither Connect Appointments nor our client can train candidates with no welding experience.

• Assisting other warehouse staff to sort and pack products
• Following site policies and procedures

The ideal Loading Bay Operative will have:

• A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
• Knife skills (beneficial, but not essential)
