Working as a Materials Handler, your duties will involve booking goods in to stock, issuing stock for relevant jobs, consolidating stock and putting back into storage. Combined with the following:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Using handheld scanners to pick stock for use
- Reading labels to identify correct goods for issue
- Consolidation of stock to put back into storage
- Storing and receiving goods throughout the warehouse
- Safely manoeuvring the forklift in a busy environment
To be successful in this Material Handler role, you will have a valid forklift licence, combined with previous work experience in a warehouse and/or other material handling role. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
- Good problem solving skills
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail with good numeracy skills
