About the job!

• Collection and Transport: Drive a company vehicle (Class 2 HGV) to multiple locations, including garages, commercial businesses, and waste facilities, to collect end-of-life tyres.
• Loading/Unloading: Manually load and unload tyres (which can be heavy and dirty) into the collection vehicle and at the processing facility or depot.
• Documentation and Compliance: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, such as waste transfer notes, to ensure compliance with waste management regulations and the customer’s duty of care obligations.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Safety: Conduct daily safety checks on the vehicle (e.g., checking oil, water, fuel, and tyre pressure) and report any defects immediately.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and polite customer service during interactions at collection points.
• Health and Safety Adherence: Operate safely and effectively in industrial environments, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to minimise the risk of injury

What do you need?
