As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:

Delivery driving duties, including compliance with all delivery and offloading instructions
Loading and unloading
Relief warehouse duties, including picking and packing
Basic vehicle housekeeping

What’s on offer?

Permanent contract
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (with an early finish on Friday)
£25,896 per annum

To be successful in this Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative role you will have:

A valid counterbalance FLT licence
Previous experience in a similar role
A clean UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills

Connect Appointments have exciting opportunities for Spiral Machine Operators!

Our client is a leading ventilation manufacturing company based in Northfleet, Kent; and are seeking individuals with great attention to detail to become Spiral Machine Operators.

What’s on offer?

£27,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm – with an early Friday finish

Working as a Machine Operator, you will produce high quality spirally wound tubing using the on-site Spiral Forming machine. With your other duties including:

Maintaining stock levels
Carrying out regular cleaning, reporting any issues
Counting and recording all spiral tubes and raw materials for the purposes of snap shot, month end, ad hoc/discretionary stock counts or annual stock takes

To be successful, you’ll ideally have experience of working in a production sheet metal environment. Combined with the ability to operate and control equipment, along with experience of Spiral Forming machines; however, full training can be provided.

Additional skills, traits and experience include:

Aware of, and comply with, all health and safety requirements
Have previous experience operating a forklift truck – refresher training can be provided
