Working in our established client’s warehouse, this is a full-time on-going position for reliable and experienced warehouse workers. Due to the location of the site, access to your own transport would be beneficial.

What’s on offer?

• 4-on, 4-off rotating shift
• 6:30am to 6:45pm
• £12.21 per hour
• Full training provided

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packaging of customer orders;
• Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork;
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors;
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment;
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls;
• General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful in this warehouse position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast-paced environment (although full training is provided), combined with the following operative duties:

• Previous experience using hand-held scanners is advantageous, but not essential
• Good physical strength and fitness
• Excellent team-working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great organisational and record-keeping skills
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision

Connect Appointments are seeking Commercial Plumbers/Pipefitters for work in Edinburgh – Immediate starts available!

Pay rate: £22 per hour (CIS)

Schedule: 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Our client is carrying out improvements and upgrades to a school heating system, we have an immediate start available for a skilled Commercial Plumber or Pipefitter that can work with steel screwed pipes, use a threading machine and follow pipelay drawings.

All fittings are screwed and in mild steel, with the pipe runs terminating at radiator points where new radiators will be installed.

The ideal Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter will have:

• Valid CSCS card (preferred)
• Access to your own transport (preferred due to location of the site)
• The availability to start immediately
• Excellent communication skills
