Connect Driver Solutions are seeking a Transport Team Leader to work out of our client’s Coatbridge site on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Schedule: Day shift
Pay rate: £16.25 per hour
Working as a Transport Team Leader:
- Arranging and planning efficient operations and service provision
- Providing cover for the driving team when necessary
- Ensuring the vehicle fleet is compliant with daily obligations
- Monitoring driver hours and reporting any accidents
- Looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the fleet
The successful Transport Team Leader will have at least 2 years of experience in a Team Leader role, as well as:
- A full CAT C/HGV class 2 licence
- Valid Digital Tacho and CPC card
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- A background in transport
