Connect Appointments are recruiting for a new position that has opened in our produce clients, Livingston’s depot. We are recruiting an ambitious individual to become a Ripener/Stock Controller, on our client’s small but productive Ripening team.
What’s on offer?
- Sunday to Thursday, 04:30 to 15:30 – some degree of flexibility may be needed
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- £29,000 per annum
Working within the produce team, the successful applicant will need to be able to plan ahead, think on your feet and be able to lift heavy boxes (up to 22kg at times). When undertaking quality checks, some work is at height with workers being required to climb a ladder.
Key skills, traits and experience for this role consists of:
- Previous experience working within an Operative/Production/Stock Control environment (beneficial)
- Knowledge of fresh produce (beneficial)
- Working knowledge of health and safety (essential)
- previous experience in a fast-paced environment (essential)
- Pallet truck and forklift truck licence (beneficial)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
