Connect Appointments are recruiting Order Pickers to join our Bathgate based logistics client. We’re seeking individuals to join the back shift warehouse team with part-time and full-time hours available.
What’s on offer? Full-time or part-time available, with varying contracts of 15 to 35 hours per week available, across a variety of shift patterns:
- Saturday/Sunday
- Friday/Saturday
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday
With full training provided, you’ll can either work with team one or team two; with weekly pay of £14.27 p/h (up to 10pm), £17.74 p/h (after 10pm).
- Team One: Start 1/4pm (mixed) finish 23:00 (approx.)
- Team Two: Start 4pm finish 01:30 (approx.)
As an Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:
- Safely picking and packing items
- Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork
- Unloading deliveries and assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Restocking shelves, and other general duties
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; able to follow both written and verbal instructions; and able to work on your own and as part of a team.
