Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for reliable individuals with talent in maintaining clean and hygienic environments, to become Food Production Operatives with one of our leading production clients in Shotts.
What’s on offer?
- Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00
- Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm (with an early Friday finish)
- All breaks are paid!
For this you will be paid weekly at £12 per hour (rising to £13.80 for any hours worked after 8pm), and overtime paid up to £27.60 p/h.
As a Food Production Operative your duties will include:
- Cleaning in place systems including production machinery
- Maintaining proper housekeeping in a food production environment
- Cleaning utensils and other production equipment
- Maintaining cleaning supply stocks
- Performing general production duties as required
- Hand packing products
- Quality checking against food regulations
To be successful within this food production position you will ideally have previous experience working in a production/hygiene-related role. Combined with:
- Access to their own transport (beneficial)
- Strong time-keeping and organisational skills
