Connect Appointments are seeking a Chef/Cook to join our client’s Coupar Angus based team and contribute to the success of their kitchen team.
What’s on offer?
- 30 hours per week
- Sunday to Thursday, 15:00 to 21:30
- £13 per hour – paid weekly
As a Chef/Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing, producing, presenting, and serving menu items to customers while adhering to Health and Safety practices and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Measuring out meal ingredients and prepping various ingredients
- Collaborating with other Chefs Cooks to prepare meals
- Serving food and drinks to their customers and employers
- Cleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shift
- Maintaining a stock record
- Rotating stock items as per established procedures
- Restocking the pantry and fridge or freezer as necessary
- Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
- Ordering new ingredients as required
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a cooking environment, with the ability to cook basic cuisine from scratch. You will also have a passed basic hygiene qualification.
