Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to work night shift for our client in the Westfield London Shopping Centre, within Shepherds Bush.
As a Building Services Engineer you will be expected to support the maintenance operation, and ensure support is co-ordinated through the Technical Services who will guide and direct the daily duties of work.
You will provide a level of General Building Maintenance, including Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric, as part of a small multi-disciplinary building Service’s Team and will be part of the on-call response team.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:
- Building maintenance within a Service Industry
- Working in a busy demand led environment
- Working with the Concept CAFM System
Combined with the following skills and traits:
- NVQ level 2 and higher in an M&E qualification
- City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)
- JIB Accredited
- IPAF / PASMA
- Good organisational skills; able to prioritise own workload and achieve deadlines
- Good level of IT skills
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills
- A customer service approach to problem solving
- Able to work as part of a team or independently
