Connect Appointments are recruiting for an Assistant Customer Service & Logistics Manager to join our high-end client, based in Newbridge, Edinburgh. Our client is a popular name within the Spirits industry and are seeking a confident and experienced individual to join their team on a permanent basis.

The hours you will work are outlined below, although flexibility with these can be accommodated, within reason. You as an assistant manager will also able to work from home one day of the week.

You would be expected to work:

  • Monday - Thursday, 7:30 - 17:15
  • Friday, 7:30 - 14:30 (Working from home)


  • Dependent upon experience

Your management responsibilities would include:

  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to your team members
  • Leading the bulk vatted sales service provision
  • Ownership of cased goods customer transactions
  • Leading the processing and swift execution of orders
  • Generating the correct HMRC documentation for movement of goods
  • Preparing final export shipping documentation
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate customer records
  • Regular leasing with other internal and external teams
  • Monitoring costs related to transport and documentation
  • Operation of various software programmes

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong IT skills
  • Knowledge of shipping protocols & supply chain processes
  • Proven experience of driving continuous improvement
  • IOSH qualification
  • Drinks industry experience
