Service Engineer ( Gas Safe )

Connect Appointments Technical have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join or clients service engineering team.

Our client is a world leader in the supply and installation of manufacturing equipment for the food processing market. The Service Engineer would be joining the aftercare team that takes care of all service maintenance and repairs of the equipment, whilst also providing technical support to our client's customers, during the life of the equipment.

Service Engineers for this role would need to be located, ideally to cover the Midlands and south of England, so whilst your location is not a major issue you must be based within service level timescales. There will also be travel and overnight stays across the service area and possibly further afield as the client also has an EU presence, which may require support.

What we need our Service Engineers to have.

Gas Certification is essential with the minimum being COCN1 and CIGA1

Apprenticeship Qualified or HNC in a relevant discipline ( electrical and Mechanical )

Experience of forced draft package burners (Weishaupt and Riello would be preferred)

Experience of PLC Systems

Experience in production equipment maintenance in a factory environment (beneficial)

Excellent people and communication skills, comfortable in computer-based maintenance schedules

There will be a requirement for weekend working in line with the needs of the business
