Connect Appointments Hospitality Division are currently recruiting for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porters on behalf of our luxury, world-wide reknowned 5 Star Hotel client based in the heart of the beautiful Perth and Kinross area.
As Kitchen Porter you will work under the guidance of the Kitchen Stewards Team, assisting them to keep all the Kitchens orderly, ready for the Chef teams during and after services, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen areas at all times.
The ideal Kitchen Porter must possess a warm personality. Be a first class communicator at all levels, whilst being a punctual timekeeper to carry out tasks/duties required. You must be well organised and have a keen eye for detail and quality.
Having previous Kitchen Porter experience within a fast paced, busy environment is Hotel environment is advantagous but not essential, but having the right aptitude, and right attitude are essential for all candidates.
Shift patterns are 5 days out of 7, and you will be required to be flexible on shift patterns, which are usually 8:00am till 4:30pm, or 4:30pm till 1:00am. You will be working a basic 37.5hrs week, have 1 hour for lunch, and any extra hours over your allotted shift times, will always be paid for. Overtime opportunities are also available.
There is ample staff secure staff parking on site, and given the location own transport is advised.
Live-in accommodation will be available from January 2020, if required.
In return the right Kitchen Porter candidates will receive a competitive base salary package based on a 37.5hr hour week, working 5 out of 7 days. There is also the prospect of this role becoming permanent for the right candidates.
