The Role:

Connect Appointments Hospitality Division are currently recruiting for an experienced, hands on Assistant Executive Housekeeper on behalf of our luxury, world-wide renowned 5 Star Hotel client based in the heart of the beautiful Perth and Kinross area.

This is a hands-on leadership Assistant Executive Housekeeper role, you will be working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, leading a dedicated team of 150 individuals to support the upkeep, cleaning, and hygiene of the beautiful Hotel rooms and public areas. It is essential that the successful candidate has a hard working, positive attitude, with strong organisation skills that feels comfortable leading a diverse operation and team.

The areas the successful candidate will oversee are; Public Area Cleaners, Room Attendants, Night Porters and Supervisory level staffs.

Ideally this role would suit an existing, experienced Head Housekeeper who is perhaps looking to take the next step in their career, with a larger venue. Our client is looking for an ambitious, driven Housekeeping professional with previous experience within a 4/5 star Hotel Housekeeping department.

The Person:

The ideal Assistant Executive Housekeeper needs to possess a great attention to detail. Be a first class communicator on all levels, have great people management skills, be a punctual timekeeper to delivery of tasks and duties required. Ideally you will be well organised, able to motivate, and inspire others to be the best they can be on a daily basis.

As the Head Housekeeper you need to be also conversant with managing costs and materials, manage staff rotas, whilst monitoring the use of cleaning materials and equipment in line with departmental budgets. In the role you must also possess good Health & Safety knowledge, insight to PPM maintenance management, COSHH, HACCP procedures, and environmental impact awareness.
