HR and People Development Manager.

The Role:

Connect Appointments Hospitality have an excellent opportunity for HR and People Development Manager to join our highly respected, luxury Hotel Resort Client; off the Ayrshire coast of Scotland.

As the HR and People Development Manager of the Hotel and Spa Resort, you will be expected to understand what quality delivery of HR support, Employee engagement, and People development is.

This is to continue with the current stirling work at the venue, to provide an "awesome" culture. To embue the staffs with the training, and support to thrive with the daily challenges of always exceeding the Hotels end users expectations, and make it a great positive culture to be part of.

As the HR and People Development Manager you will be expected to achieve consistent delivery levels of planned, and proactive training programmes to suit the business and employees needs. Succession Planning and PDP's for the staffs. Through the constant monitoring of the established business ethos, and established standards.

You must be able to prove a track record of prior successes in these areas, especially with Inductions, on-boarding, people/cultural development and the delivery of training programme. Providing new innovative, and evolving Employee engagement programmes, are also key requirements for the role.

As part of the on-site senior strategic management team for the resort, the HR and People Development Manager must have high attentiveness to detail, be capable of delivering consistent ethical standards, whilst providing other Managers with on-going HR/ER guidance/support. All of this to be in line with all local, legislative, and all labour law requirements.

As HR and People Development Manager at site, you will also be heavily involved in the recruitment processes and policies across the business, and be integral in working with both internal, and external stakeholders in finding, employing, and retaining the best talent for the businesses needs.

The Person:

Ideally the right candidate for the HR and People Development Manager role, should possess a warm, personable, courteous, approachable personality, and project a positive unflagging "can do" attitude. The role requires also the ability to make fair and firm decisions, and where necessary be very direct in ensuring business objectives are met.

Also as important, is being an highly adaptive, hands on, pro-active team player, which are all highly desired characteristics of the right person for this pivotal role. A sense of humour is also a must.

You must have prior experience in a similar 4/5 star Hotel HR Manager and People Development role, with proven HR track-record, and confidence to deliver the expectations of this varied role.

Combined with a passion for delivering exceptional HR support, people/skills training through your HOD's,via your outstanding first class people engagement and human resources understanding.
