An opportunity has arisen for a Stress Engineer within our Engineering Team, this is an ideal opportunity to learn new skills and be part of a diverse team. As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for the evaluation of the design of repairs to structural components, creating structural substantiation and ensuring compliance with baseline certification requirements and Airworthiness Authority Regulations. Ideally, you should have familiarity with composite materials, repair design practices and procedures and structural substantiation methods (hand and computer-based). You will also be computer literate with experience of MS Office and ideally MathCAD, FEA and analysis software (e.g. Patran and Nastran)
Experience working within a similar environment with an aeronautical/mechanical engineering background is essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Microsoft packages. Compliance with all company policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements is essential.
