Connect Appointments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to work at your clients serviced apartments in and around Edinburgh City Centre. This role is based between multi-sites in close proximity.
Duties for the housekeeper role include but are not limited to: Housekeeper Room Attendant - Part Time
- Hoovering
- Dusting
- Polishing
- Dishes
- Making Beds
- Laundry
- Cleaning Kitchen area
- Some manual handling - carrying cleaning products upstairs.
- Will be working on own or in a team
- Walking between premises (not far)
- Picking up litter/keeping small garden/front area clean
- Any other associated cleaning tasks
- Previous cleaning experience desirable(including factory/office etc but hotel/apartment if possible)
- Must be able to communicate (basic understanding is okay) as will be in contact with customers from time to time.
- Must be able to read/write in English as shifts/other communications are often sent via text and email.
- Full COSHH training and manual handling training will be given by the client.
- All employees must be able to commit to Fridays and Sundays as these are the busiest days
- Potential to progress to a supervisor/team leader role as the business expands
Hourly Rate £8.38
Working hours are; Housekeeper Room Attendant - Part Time
1 x Room Attendant/Cleaner (25 - 35 Hours per week) Temp to Perm Potentially ongoing temp dependant on clients need
1 x Weekend Room Attendant/Cleaner (15-20 Hours per week Friday and Sunday) Ongoing Temp
